Bitcoin offers citizens a unique opportunity to achieve financial independence and protect assets against inflation. It represents an alternative to inflationary currency systems and enables individual wealth protection without dependence on centralized institutions.
Austria has the opportunity not only to strengthen its economic resilience through the targeted promotion of Bitcoin and financial education, but also to play a pioneering role in supporting individual freedom.
With this referendum, we are calling on the federal (constitutional) legislator to promote Bitcoin as a future technology through targeted legal measures and to make Austria a role model for freedom, innovation and sustainability.
